This nylon-string baritone guitar made by master luthier Daniel Stark, Germany, is the height of tonal and design perfection. I’ve never played a finer guitar.
Even though I’m best-known for my steel-string fingerpicking, I stared out playing classical guitar when I was younger. Since then, I’ve been searching for the perfect nylon-string guitar for recording & performing.
I finally found it in Daniel Stark’s JaZZ Fusion nylon-string instrument. It sounds fabulous – with a punchy mid-range that suits my fingerpicking style and its contemporary design is stunning.
It was a particular pleasure for me to build an instrument for the highly esteemed Mr. Eric Bibb! And although he mainly plays steel-string guitars, the JaZZ has already been featured in numerous studio recordings, videos, and tours. And in 2020, a second, very special guitar joined the collection: the JaZZ Baritone.
