Española II

The first model in this new guitar series is, as one would expect, a traditional Spanish-style concert guitar. Designed for ambitious students or advanced players looking to improve.

The Española II already exhibits many characteristics of a master-quality guitar.

For example, an elaborately handcrafted mosaic rosette and Simplicio knot block, fan bracing crafted according to my specifications, all-solid, select woods, and individual intonation adjustment (G string).

The top is available in either cedar for quick response and warmth, or spruce with a finer, more nuanced character. Solid wenge back and sides enhance the guitar’s excellent presence and projection. The sound is rich and traditional in the best sense, without the typical weaknesses on the high string.

The guitar is polished to a high gloss with a sound-optimized lacquer, allowing the use of all supports, including those with suction cups. A microfiber cloth is included for easy care.

The Española II costs €2250 (without case) and offers exceptional value for money.

A premium version is also available upon request. After I personally tune the soundboard and perform the final sanding, it undergoes a very elaborate hand-polishing process with a special resin-oil lacquer. This lacquer consists of more than 20 ultra-thin layers, and the entire process takes at least two weeks. The final lacquer thickness is less than 0.1 mm, resulting in a further improved sound and a stunning appearance. Please inquire about availability and price.
