Extended 7-string

7-string guitar with an additional bass string, extended by two frets. The 73 cm scale length of the lowest string, typically tuned to A, significantly expands the tonal range. A sliding capo (from the banjo) can be used variably on the first 5 frets.

A special feature is the 3D cutaway I designed: A specially shaped, glued cutaway allows for a very comfortable fingering transition when moving to the highest frets. Here, the neck heel flows seamlessly into the side of the guitar. Of course, the model is also available without the cutaway.

Artists: Specially designed and built for the Katona Twins, the concept of the „Extended 7-string“ comes from Matthew Grasso (USA).
