JaZZ Fusion

The JaZZ, a visionary design for the progressive guitarist working across classical and jazz, rock and world music.
Designed in 2007/2008 for the great Zaza (ZZ) Miminoshvili of the band The Shin, it has since become a favorite among a whole host of professional musicians. The deep cutaway and 24-fret fingerboard open up new playing possibilities. The side soundhole maximizes the acoustically usable top surface, and the asymmetrical headstock (4+2, designed with Alexander Kilian in 2010) completes the avant-garde look.
Optionally equipped with individual pickups, it offers access to modeling and MIDI, and thus endless tonal possibilities. Further information on pickup options and amplification can be found here.
It was featured at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest (representing Georgia) and was selected for the catalog and exhibition in two design competitions (Bavarian State Prize for Young Designers 2010, Lower Saxony State Prize for Arts and Crafts 2013).
Artists with JaZZ: Eric Bibb, Zaza Miminoshvili, Alexander Kilian (Café del Mundo), Christoph Stadtler, Volker Luft, Peter Tomko, Daniel Agikov…
The JaZZ is a globetrotter. It blends the tonal colors of flamenco with those of jazz and classical music, creating a seamless fusion of East and West.
Based on a unique acoustic foundation, the hexaphonic pickup offers a wide range of possibilities for orchestral and atmospheric sounds, and the specially shaped cutaway is ideally suited for soaring soaring virtuosity on the instrument.
An excellent companion for those who travel between eras and continents.
