Nylon Bariton

A nylon-string baritone is a true rarity! Here’s a version of the JaZZ. The six strings are tuned a fifth lower than a guitar, hence the old name „fifth bass.“ It can also be tuned as a semi-baritone or third bass in C.
Originally built for myself, this special instrument has found its admirers all on its own. It has a unique charm with its warm, deep tone, reminiscent of the soulful sound of a cello.
The scale length is between 69 and 71 cm. The neck width is the same as a classical guitar, so it feels familiar despite its length.
A studio version is also available, which is usually in stock and costs €3,000.
